When did you submit your application? Considering you're the first group of people to receive a waitlist, it's very likely that you will still be admitted!

Just received the Waitlist email too. They say decisions regarding people who have been put on that list will be made beginning June. Don't know if I can wait that long.

That's a very fast turnaround. I wouldn't know what to expect, but you haven't been rejected at least. That means you do still have a chance, so try not to despair too much.

June?? That's late. I would definitely go to another school in that case.

Received an email stating that I have been put on the waiting list. Need to wait till June to know! :(
The specialization that I have applied for is for Media Law. UCLA is my best bet. I have no choice but to wait!
Anyone who has any idea about Southwestern Law School in LA? They have the Beiderman Institute for Media and Entertainment Law. Hollywood Reporter ranks in no. 7 in the US for a specialization in media law. I have been accepted there. But I want to wait for UCLA.

UCLA's law school ranking is 16 and USC is at 20. They are really not so different. UCLA has slightly more prestige. USC is more expensive but gives out more scholarships to compensate. They both have excellent media specialisations from what I hear. USC is supposed to have one of the best alumni networks in the country. USC is still a very respectable school, I'm not sure why UCLA is so much more highly regarded considering they're not so different.
