Hi myself am an LLB graduate from India. I am planning to study my masters from the USA .
Due to some personal commitments, in the future i might have to shift to australia or back to india.keeping that in mind i have to choose my masters in a subject,in which my carrer in the field would not suffer much due to the change of location.It would be of great help if you could advice me on the subject which would be the most benificial in such a case.
Also i was wondering if you could tell me if i need to give n LSAT to qualify myself for the LLM course and if anyother examination except for TOFFEL is required.

Well, I guess that if you don't intend to stay in the US, you should focus on international law, if that's what you like. I don't know.. you just have to decide what would you like to study and see if it's worth. Because, if you may have to go to australia, it would be better for you to get a LLM from there, wouldn't it?

You don't need LSAT, it is meant to students applying for JD not LLM. The LLM is for lawyers. But I must say: your english have to be really good! You need to get at least 100 (iBT) on the TOEFL test to even be considered.

In your situation, I would rather recommend taking up "Business and Commercial Laws" since the subject will have relevance in all the three countries - USA, Australia and India because of the presence of USA MNCs in all these countries.

You can also think about 'Immigration Law'.

But you may have to start all over again in Au depending on their bar exam requirements.

I would suggest doing something like CPA which is recognised in all 3.
