Dear Mr. -----------,
Aside from our Graduate Tax Scholarships and Global Health Law Fellowships, Georgetown has a small amount of scholarship funding available for outstanding LL.M. students. All admitted international students are considered for scholarship funding on the basis of their application materials, and selected students will be invited to apply. Please note that such scholarships cover partial, not full, tuition.
In addition, the Law Center's website provides some information about outside scholarship sources for international students at http://www.law.georgetown.edu/finaid/apply/documents/InternationalStudentAid_Info.pdf. The ability of foreign students to work is also limited by the type of visa they receive.
We realize that the decision to study abroad for an LL.M. represents a significant investment, and we hope the resources above will help you as you begin the search for scholarship funding. As we learn about additional sources that may be of interest to our students, we try to update the list on the Admitted Student Website to include those sources.
Best regards,

Hi all,
This thread basically answers some of our questions - dated 2009 so still pretty recent. note BUG's posts as this user received a scholarship (and declined it eventually)

Any guy received the invitation for tax scholarship application in 2011? I just received the ad.

Hi rillshiegin, congrats on being admitted! I didn't apply for a tax LLM, so I won't be receiving a tax scholarship application. Just wondering what you meant by "the ad?"
also, are you okay with sharing your stats on this board? Mine are in my profile, thanks!

Thanks, thesestreets. My profile is:
GPA 5%
China & Int'l Tax Exp. 4+ years at Big4
TOEFL 109
2 ROL: 1 from tax law professor; 1 from my boss.
Let's watch out and keep updating.
