An admission question!

I was accepted at Fordham, but I also sent applications to 4 other universities, including Duke and last friday I received a letter from Duke that I was accepted but I already sent the deposit to Fordham to secure a seat in their LLM and also, some financial information and some forms for the I-20 processing. Given the excellent news I received last week from Duke, I will definetely choose Duke instead of Forham and I know that I will loose the acceptance fee but I'm worried about the forms I already sent for my I-20 processing, will these cause me problems if they have already began processing the I-20? Any advice or opinion will be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations on your admission to Duke. If you are certain that you will attend Duke, I would suggest that you get in touch with the people at Fordham and let them know. You need to specifically ask them not to process your I-20 forms, since if this is done, then the SEVIS number you get will only allow you to attend Fordham. I hope this helps.
