Hello friends
I have received offer from LSE for LL.M. in commercial laws course but unfortunately did not received any graduate merit award. I was wondering if anybody has received this award as yet for LL.M. this year. Is it solely based on academic grade? If it is so, I have reasonably good academic record in grad with average 76% and secured first rank in university. Apart from that I have successfully completed post grad diploma in Int trade law with 71% and first rank in class.
Friends plz help me out and let me know wat I can do now like if I can ask LSE to reconsider my application for this award.

I'm in the same situation: got admitted to the LSE LLM without the Graduate Merit Award. Unfortunately, it's written on their website that it is impossible to ask them to reconsider the GMA.

I received a fairly swift unconditional of acceptance from LSE (application received in December and offer sent first week of January), but no graduate merit award.
That's tough, given the cost of London. Not sure what the criteria is either, I have two years of litigation experience plus several publications. Oftentimes, I think these criteria-less awards are a bit of crapshoot.
