City Law School has just updated its pages for the academic year 2008/2009. Included are the full list of secured internships so far (I have a few more under negotiation) as well as a complete list of the 26 courses we are offering this year on our International Commercial Law LLM Programme.
See http://www.city.ac.uk/law/llmprogramme/index.html
Note that although our final closing date for applications is Monday September 29th we recommend that during September all applicants should seek to ensure that their transcripts and references are available very soon after making a formal application.

Hey guys, some suggestions:
I have received an offer from City University for LLM in commercial Law and also from Glasgow and Kent and Birmingham.... for a similar progamme....!!
(I have applied to UCL, KCL, QMUL, no response yet)
What would you conisder City or glasgow and the others?
I was planning to accept the offer of City University as it is placed in London and it gives me a hope of gaining a internship.
But considering its ranking in different sites i am confused.
I wanna practice in UK for 1-2 years and then return to my country.
So which one would you suggest?
Also i have heard that these rankings are mainly LLB rankings and not for LLM programmes. Is it true?

Hi Legal_India,
I think City University is best placed. It is in the heart of everything: job opportunities etc I did LLM at City and it did not take me long to find a job in a city law firm. The classes are small they have great city insider program plus internships will open doors for you especially that you want to stay in the UK for a while and practice here. The ratings must be based on LLB guides though I know many people who do LLB at City and quite happy.
