LLM - Post LLB at Mumbai University

Shivani93

Hello everyone,

I am graduating from Mumbai University after the 3 year LLB program this month (since the result of the final semester exam - Semester VI, are expected this month). However, in the interim (today), Mumbai University released a circular stating that the result for Semester IV exams (previously released) has been withdrawn - As these results were on the basis of the average scores obtained in the first 3 semesters and exams were not conducted on account of COVID and the consequential lockdown. They are now grading the students for Semester IV on the basis of assignments which are due on 31 July and will release the results in mid-August.

I have been admitted to a top program in US for a tax LLM starting in Fall 2021 and am concerned that this may impact my admission, as the result is not expected before I commence the LLM program (I am taking a few classes in Summer as well).

Is anyone else facing a similar situation or has any inputs on how to go about this? Please let me know, any information would be helpful.

Thank you!

chicken so...

Have you talked to the school you've been admitted to? Seems like they should be alerted, and you can ask them what to do about it.
