Are there any people who are considering to attend the summer English program before LLM classes begin?
The pre-LLM program costs about $8k. Is it worthwhile to join the program? I really want to hear some opinions.

Even in a main llm program you will hardly get a satisfying performance for the money that you invest into it - if you are obliged to pay international fees. A lot of universities stick to extensive reading lists (just to keep you busy) and have very limited taught support.

I would not do it - but talk to someone - who has done such a program - and especially ask about the support you will get for your money, if you do not want to sit day to day in a dusty library and read stuff by yourself, what you could also do at home.
