While researching masters programmes available at Uppsala University I happened to notice that international students will not be awarded an LLM qualification on successful completion of the masters degree (unlike their Swedish classmates who complete the same course) and, will instead have the qualification translated as a masters of something else.

Does anyone know if this is the case for all LLM's in Sweden? If so, does this apply to all LLM's if studied in a foreign country?

Or does it just apply to a limited number of other countries/universities in the World?

Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.
