The New York-based Fordham Law School has announced the launch of a new Online LL.M. in Corporate Compliance.
The new program aims to help students "respond effectively to new and complex regulatory demands," according to the program webpage. The required courses cover topics such as legal writing, corporate compliance, and compliance risk assessment. Students will also be able to delve into electives such as "Anti-Money Laundering," "Privacy & Cybersecurity," and "Human Rights Compliance," among others.
The new online program will feature both synchronous material—in the form of live online lectures—and asychronous coursework, such as videos and study questions. The program is already offered as an on-campus option.
In terms of length, the Online LL.M. program will vary based on how many classes students take. It may be completed in as few as two semester or as many as seven.
The school notes that this degree does not confer bar eligibility.
