Fordham Announces Winter Institute for Law Students and Grads From Outside the US

Week-long program in New York City to address topics in the US legal system

Fordham Law has announced the launch of a new "Winter Institute" that will cover topics in the US legal system.

The program is one week long and is open to law graduates and students from outside the United States. It will take place in New York City, and include a visit to a court. Beyond introducing participants to the US legal system, the institute will also include optional sessions on applying to LL.M. programs and preparing a US-style resume and cover letter.

Although academic credit will not be awarded, participants who complete at least 80 percent of the required program classes will receive a certificate.

Fordham Law's inaugural Winter Institute will take place between Jan 6 and 14, 2016.
