New program scheduled to begin in September 2014

Leiden University in the Netherlands will be offering a new Master of Laws in Advanced Studies in International Civil and Commercial Law beginning in September 2014.

"Globalisation and increasing international trade have resulted in the rapid internationalisation of civil and commercial law practice," says a statement by the law school. "This Master of Laws Advanced Studies programme has been designed with these developments in mind and aims to prepare graduates for careers in this constantly evolving environment."

"It is aimed at both legal professionals and top graduates who wish to acquire in-depth knowledge into the field of civil and commercial law from a truly international perspective."

The program will be offered in English, and can be taken full-time over one year, or part-time over two years.
