This fall, San Francisco's Golden Gate University will launch an LL.M. in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law.
The program's core curriculum covers a number of topics, including estate and gift tax, mediating trust and estate disputes, and probate procedure. Students can choose to customize the LL.M. through a number of elective courses, covering topics like real estate tax, 401(k) plans, and more.
Students can also choose to pair the degree with the school's LL.M. in Taxation, or pursue a specialization in Taxation.
There is also some curricular flexibility for some students. For instance, the LL.M. can be completed in as short as one semester by transferring units from an ABA-accredited JD or another LL.M. in tax.
