Open Consultation Hour

Date/Time

March 05, 2024 17:00 Europe/Berlin

Description

You are interested in Intellectual Property law and want to study in an international environment at one of Germany´s universities of Excellence? Then this is the place for you!

How does artificial intelligence affect intellectual property law? Why should we suspend patents on CoVid 19 vaccines (or shouldn´t we)? Is the sign EM 2020 registrable as a trademark? How to handle personal data in a legally secure manner? Answers to all of these questions and to many more you can find in the program of our LL.M. IP program "International Studies in Intellectual Property Law"!

In lectures, tutorials and seminars during the summer semester in Dresden, Germany, the focus is primarily on the European harmonized regulations of intellectual property, including trademark law, copyright law, data protection law and design law. In addition, more than 50 practitioners will give you insights into IP-related work in a company, as a lawyer or in court; you can simulate the hearing of a case in the moot court and acquire additional knowledge via language classes and academic writing classes.

In the winter semester you have the possibility to study in at one of our renowned partner universities (e.g., Seattle, Tokyo, London, Prague, Exeter, Krakow, Szeged or Strasbourg) or the whole year at TU Dresden.

Do you have questions regarding the program? Would you like to get to know the coordinators and lecturers in advance or would you like to hear about the students´ experiences? Then make a note of 05/03/2024 at 5.00 PM (CET).

We - the LL.M. coordinator team - will be available to you personally via Zoom in our Open Consultation Hour to clarify as much as we can.

We are looking forward to meeting YOU!
