Looking for an LL.M. in Tax Law? Many are drawn to study Tax Law during their LL.M. program because it's an exciting, practical field of law. 

And, perhaps more importantly, an LL.M. in Tax Law can be highly useful. Virtually all businesses need tax guidance, to help them navigate the complex web of rules, regulations, and frameworks that cover taxes. The need for tax law help is also growing as an increasing number of businesses operate in more complex environments, such as those who conduct business internationally, or on the internet.

To help students understand these complicated issues, a Tax LL.M. program will include up-to-date curriculum that addresses a number of emerging topics. Common classes that students would usually take during an LL.M. in Tax Law include Tax Policy, VAT, Tax Shelters, Estate Planning, Income Tax Law, and International Taxation, among others. 

Many Tax LL.M. programs are delivered on a full-time basis; however, there are a number of programs, which are aimed at working professionals, that are delivered either on a part-time basis or online. Indeed, a number of tax professionals like CPAs pursue their Master's programs in Tax Law while continuing to work.
