I don't think so. I submitted my application on january 28, 2011 (deadline was february 01, 2011) and i got an answer on february 15, 2011! Good luck!

I think it is too early for UCLA. Anyone else heard from USC?

I am also keep waiting for USC. Keep my fingers crossed. I just wrote a letter to the office to check my status. But I think if I do not get the admission now, maybe I will have to wait until the second round.

What do you mean by second round? Please post here if you get any answer from them, I have not written, but if you get anything from them, maybe I should write too.

What I mean about second round is some people's applications have reached the standard of USC clearly, others maybe will take some time to be consider or review. THerefore I think they will not wait until all the decisions come out then start sending mails. Instead, I guess they will inform applicants first whose admissions have been admitted in early stage. And others still need to wait while they are reviewing. Good luck~

Is it sure there is second round? I guess that USC may give additional admission to another applicants if some admiitted applicants decline to offer from USC?

Besides, the admission of USC this year seems to be more competitive than last year or the other year. Does it?

Look like " second round " means a specific operation way or procudure to some people or some schools as welll. If so, that was not what I mean to. I am just saying " maybe " they will inform applicants whose decisions have been made, while other applications are still under review. Then we can still have hope to get the admission. Anyone want to make sure about the procedure, I suggest you to mail the USC office. Good luck ~
