Got admitted to both schools and trying to figure out which one to go to. In your opinion which one is better for copyright and technology law? I am very interested in entertainment law too, and UCLA offers more niche courses than Columbia. I am also wondering if the name of the university makes a big difference later when looking for a job, UCLA vs. Columbia?

if you're set on entertainment law and copyright and technology law, then UCLA is a much better bet. Columbia is of course a bigger brand name but it won't offer you opportunities in those fields. Columbia is mainly known for corporate and banking laws (as per my knowledge). Hope that helps
