Hello,
I'm interested in SPILS (Stanford program in International Legal Studies - concentration in Law and technology) but I'm not sure if it is the right program for me so I'd appreciate any info and advice you could give me.
First of all, the SPILS description (The SPILS is oriented toward foreign candidates committed to pursuing careers in teaching, research, the judiciary, public policy, or service in government or non-governmental organizations) definitely resonates exactly with my career goals (public policy especially) but I'm not sure if I should apply because I'm not a law graduate. As a matter of fact my undergrad is in Software Engineering (as well as my current Masters), my thesis research is cross-disciplinary (engineering-legal-social) and I have substantial work experience in the non-governmental and development sector (UN).
SPILS seems like a good combination of my interests.
Any advice please?
