Hello everyone,
I have contacted my professors who are going to send my recommendation letter, and informed them that they are to complete and sign the LOR Request Form, and send it to LSAC in a sealed envelope.
However, there is a logistic problem, since I am not currently in my country. Therefore, I wouldn't be able to sign the Request Form on the "Applicants signature" part.
The amount of time that sending this form back and forward could take too much time; possibly jeopardizing my applications.
Is it possible to send the scanned form to my professors, and have them sign it and send it?
tks

You should call LSAC and ask them directly, in order to avoid any problems.

From my experience on that matter, your signature is not mandatory. The most important part is the information of the recommender and actually sending it with the letter in a sealed envelope.
I think you can send a signed scan of it to the recommender, and he will attach it to the letter and send to LSAC, because they use it mostly for the reason of matching your LOR with your account (it has a bar-code field).
Another possible solution - you can send an unsigned copy of the form with the LOR and then send the signed one to LSAC via e-mail (if you do wish to sign it and to waive your rights to view the LOR later).
I hope this helped.

I will post here their response, just in case someone need the info in the future:
Thank you for your email. On the LOR form your signature is optional. So therefore, if you send it to LSAC without a signature we will still process it.
Please feel free to contact us with any additional questions or concerns.
Best regards,
