1. Take a few afternoons and look at the programs offered in the country you want to go to. You´ll find quite some IP related programs there. Use the search option if you want.
2. Have those universities send you their brochures. This website helps you doing that when you click on the programs.
3. Check what their admission criterias are and what you have to do to satisfy those. For example you will have to get in contact with your referees, get your transcript, maybe do a language test and stuff like that.
4. Apply and wait. :-)
It DOES seem like a maze when you start planning it, but actually it isn´t difficult at all to work through it and get some admission offers in the end. The universities mostly are a great help too and you´ll get good advice from them.
Good luck!

Hey good luck to you pursuing an LLM for 2007. Good thing you're planning ahead. As stated, make sure to review the programs which interest you the most and request their admission criteria to see if its the best for you and your real possibilities to get in. Also, I suggest that you start investigating on funding, since some scholarships and grants for fall are anounced very early. If you have specific questions regarding programs or funding issues, please send a post. I'm sure that there are plenty of people here that can help out.
Best.
Best.
