Agreed with everything that you said Genesis. Even though I am from a South American country and we do not seem to be under Trump's radar, pursuing an LLM to me would mean quitting my current job, with the goal of securing a better one once I return from the LLM, but what happens if you quit and all of a sudden your Visa is no longer valid?
Another concern I have is if the current president changes the Visa prerogatives for LLM students and then, for example, we won't be able to do the training job after the LLM, which would make loan repayments very difficult for those who live in countries with devaluated currencies.

Around what date , should we expect to get our admission decisions ?
Around mid-March.
I'd bet it's going to be either 16-17 or 20 March - either way in 2 weeks or less now... Time really does fly!

I agree with you!
I kinda screwed up in my application a little bit... I hope they see the glass half full. :)
We all did our best, however, who will get in is a matter of destiny! So don't panic. Also, remember that most successful people are either college dropouts or have never been to college. It is the irony of destiny, that there is no specific path for success.
If you got rejected or wait-listed, remember that Einstein's theory of relativity was rejected and mocked at when he applied at one of the prestigious universities. They are not always right ;)
Wish you all best of luck!! :)

Is anyone applying straight from an undergraduate degree? Even better, is anyone on this thread applying straight from an undergraduate degree in the UK?

I am. I don't feel particularly optimistic about my chances, but I figured there was nothing to lose by applying.

Cool, which university are you coming from (if you don't mind me asking)? And what do you think the chances of us getting an offer are, considering US LLMs tend to be more professionally minded?

No news so far and the silence in this thread kills me!!! I wonder why it is not lively like the Cambridge LLM thread, given the fact that HLS is my first choice. The offers were released on March 16 according to the last year's thread, therefore i guess we can expect THE NEWS in this week itself.

I find that pretty hard to believe, HLS is known to release decisions to everyone simultaneously (acceptance and rejection) so we all would have heard something by now... In any case, based on previous years looks like we should be able to expect news end of next week (around the 17-18).
