Am I correct if I say that in previous years, Harvard sent an e-mail early March to say they are on track to release decisions according to the normal timeline (i.e. “before the end of March”)? We did not get such an e-mail this time.

Does the date of when the application was submitted disappear prior to receiving the decision? Or do we just wait for the decision to strike upon us?

To my knowledge, the only thing indicating that a decision is (very) imminent is the text under "Application Status" disappearing for a while.

now we learn they do it any which hour they like

I am not sure which year it was that someone mentioned they had seen the admissions team going for a "celebratory lunch" and the decisions actually came out like a few hours later. Lol! 

Sorry I did mean EDT (have changed the post). I mixed up with my own time zone here in Paris.

I'm looking for signs in anything right now but the Application Status page's been slow for some moments in the past 30 minutes or so. I guess it could mean something's going on behind the decks. But in previous years, people weren't even able to log in for a while and decisions only came 2 days later. Uuuurgh.
