Hi.. All of us going to GWU this fall should make a group on fb so we get to know each other and communicate comfortably.

Yeah good idea! I have not managed to find the group yet though. But I think it would be good to get to know each other a little before reuniting in D.C
I have been admitted too and I think it's in the business and finance law program. It does not say which program in my admission letter :s

I also got into the business and finance law program. I'm an American and very excited about the program.

You can meet the NY bar requirements and have a specialist LLM. You just have to pay through your nose for all the extra credits. Just make sure you understand the difference before you plonk down your hard earned cash. Get some clarity from your law school on how many "special" credits you need. Varies from law school to law school.

Hello! I had a question for the international students on here. How long did it take for you to get your I-20 after you submitted all the requisite paperwork?

The uni. Sends out the I 20 forms within a week after U give them the information...after that its just a matter of filling out sevis and ds 160 to schedule ur visa interview.

Did any one of you wanted to take the NY bar exam?
The GWU office told me you can't have a specialized LLM AND take the courses necessary for the NY bar exam. That's definitely not helping to make a decision !

They told me the opposite, they told me you could arrange your courses to fit the NY bar requirements
