Hello,
I am in desperate need of assistance.
I am set to complete my LLB (hons) from an Australian University in June, and am seeking some guidance with respect to the possibility of undertaking an LLM at an American institution.
I have worked at a mid-tier corporate firm throughout my degree. I have also completed an internship with the Innocence Project in Australia. I was a finalist in the 2010 Justice Michael Kirby Award, and have engaged in philanthropic activities. I have held various positions on my University Student Law Society and I have completed an additional bachelors degree in International Business. I have also co-authored a sizeable legal publication.
Would anyone have any information or guidance with respect to the sort of institution I should (or could) apply to? I note that admission is extremely competitive. However, I have had very little guidance in Australia in regard to this matter.
Please help.
I am set to commence a graduate position in August and will be admitted to practice in Australia in February.

I'm happy to provide you some guidance generally on the application process for US LLM programs. Feel free to email with your questions. Even if Hofstra doesn't have the type of program you're looking for, I can likely point you in the direction of some resources.
