Try to work on your personal statement so the admissions committee will have a better picture of you, especially your professional experience and career goals. You have a good chance of obtaining an offer of admission from even the top ten law schools. Let the admissions committee evaluate your credentials. Unfortunately, some people are not as self-effacing or down-to-earth as you are, or possess the same candor as you do. Objectively speaking, you have just as much chance to make it as others with ostensibly sterling credentials. Good luck.

I have just submit my application to UCLA, I have a LLB degree from University of London with 2.2 Hons, and I also have the other degree in History as well, but the grade is not as good as my LLB. I wonder whether could I have the change to get into UCLA.

I know that the NYU require a total score of 100 at least in toefl ibt, in which the score of reading must beyond 26.
My ibt is 101, but unfortunately i only got 23 in the reading section.
Is that 26 in reading is compulsory? Do i still get a chance getting in the school?

Thanks to all of you that answer my question and I hope you are right an I get an offer soon.

To 06boya, I dont know but I think if your credentials are good they are not going to matter if your score is a little bit lower that they required.
