Did CLS give you a tele-interview as your toefl did not meet their requirement? I have the same problem like you.

Did CLS give you a tele-interview as your toefl did not meet their requirement? I have the same problem like you.

No interview for me. They just encouraged me by e-mail to continue my English language studies before classes begin.

Does anybody have any news regarding Columbia? I believe that they have set a 22nd of March deadline for admitted students but what does this entail for those of us still waiting for an answer? Should we be expecting some admissions tomorrow and on the the 1st of April?

I enquired, and this is what they wrote back:

Dear XXX,

Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis through the end of April. We will notify you via email as soon as a decision is made on your file.

I received an email from the Director of Graduate Legal Studies asking if I can speak with her later this week about my application.

Has anyone else received such communication from Columbia? If so, could you share what this might be regarding?

For some reason, I am not able to view any posts/replies after my last post.
Anyways, in case anyone is interested, I had the phone conversation today with the Director. She asked me about what I was doing presently and what my plans post-LLM were. And in the afternoon, I got an admission email :)

Thanks..I hope so too...Have been going mad since CLS started releasing decisions in January....NYU's decision cushioned the madness a bit... Harvard's rejection worsened it :) Hang in there!

And yeah, I've kind of decided on CLS, except NYU's program is in Corporation Law whereas CLS' is a general LLM- though I could potentially choose corporate law courses....any thoughts?
