When did you apply and when was your application completed?

did you request an expedited decision?

I have just received an email offer from Columbia. I submitted my request for an expedited decision around 3 days back, given the impending deadline of my other offers. All the best to those still waiting for a decision!

I sent an expedite decision request yesterday and I just received a rejection. (one morning to carefully consider my application) It is not illogical to received an admission from NYU with a merit scholarship and being rejected by Columbia?. Do yo have any insights on this matter?

I asked for an expedited decision too, and just received a rejection... They where quick indeed, hahaha.

It's kind of bittersweet, but it gives me clarity about my options.

I asked for an expedited decision this morning and I received admittance 2 hours ago. I will decline the offer though, good luck to everyone!

There are a couple of persons in this post that were rejected and had offers with scholarships in NYU or other programs... Perhaps the rejection is based in the fact that they couldn't offer a similar scholarship and assumed the candidates wouldn't accept their offers... who knows. I myself sent a request yesterday and haven't heard back from them...

Got accepted today. $10,000 waiver and $10,000 loan.

Does anyone know when is the next deadline to accept an offer?

What about the poor souls that did not receive an answer yet? Is there still a chance to receive a positive answer? what about financial aid?

I haven't receive any answer yet either.. The only thing that keeps my poor soul relatively relieved is that I got into Oxford.. Hope you also have a good back up plan gigi26!

I asked for an expedited decision this Friday and got a rejection on the next day. You simply say that you received an offer from University X and you have deadlines to meet next week. So you kindly ask for an expedited decision, if possible. You also attach that other school's admission letter as a prove.

I am also waiting, and I appreciate that my chances of admission are getting lower each day. Do you guys think there are any vacancies left or only if admitted candidates decide to withdraw their offer? I assume financial assistance by this point in time, is not a feasible option?

I've just checked my page and saw that the deposit fee was gone (now there is only admission fee) so just wonder whether this signifies anything? Anyone who got accepted last week, do u appear to have deposit fee in your payment box?
