Does anyone know if financial aid should be included in your admission email? I read in Berkeley website that award decisions will be emailed to the email address listed in your application form. However, it doesnt say if they come in the same email or even if they come in the same day...

Mostly it follows the admission email. Its not included in your first admission email. If you are the selected one for the scholarship then within one week of your admission (email) you should receive scholarship email.

I have been placed on the waitlist (third quartil - 51% - 75%), do I have any chances of getting in?

I would say. I have heard of miracles happening so maybe you could pray for one.

I would realistically look at your other options. How far above your next admission offer is Berkeley ranked? Maybe there isn't enough of a difference to even worry about.

ADP Scholarship ($30,000)


Berkeley Law offers a competitive scholarship program for admitted LLM students with superior academic credentials, for whom Berkeley Law is their first choice. Because funds are extremely limited, the $30,000 ADP Scholarship can only be provided to a few outstanding applicants each year.

Note- Recipients are selected after admission decisions are made; no additional scholarship application is necessary.

I am really curious to know about this ADP scholarship criteria. Will you please tell me if you are a Position holder of your batch in law school or got distinction or grade A.
I have grade A and superior academic record I am too looking forward to get the scholarship. Your response will helpful to me in understanding what actually Berkeley law is evaluating for this scholarship. Also, it appears that you hold a very strong work experience of 10 plus years which is wonderful.
