Berkeley Professional LLM

lauca81

Hi everyone, I have some questions about Berkeley Professional LLM program.

Anyone knows if this program has the same reputation and admission is as selective as then the academic year LLM?

Compared to George Washington LLM, that is only academic year, which should be better?

My porpoises are: learn more about international business law; network; have opportunities to find a job in a big law firm in US, UK or Spain for one or two years than going back to my home country.

Thanks for your opinions.

Hey! I got into this program.
First- it seems better suited for working lawyers who don't really have the time to take a whole year off.
Two- I don't think It is as selective as the other
Three- the visa might be an issue if you want to stay back after to look for a job. Their website mentions that this program isn't intended for that!

So between this n GW I'd choose the GW academic program. Did u get into GW btw?

Yes I did. I also applied to GULC but wasn't accepted there. Waiting for NYU (but if I did not get into GULC I think it will be difficult to be accepted there).
