Hi guys ...
I'm a 32 years old lawyer. What do you think about the existence of a "not written" age limit for an LLM in the US ?
... I know ... it's a discussion about the sex of the angels ...

At Yale, at least, many LL.M. candiadates are about your age, and some are older. I'm 29 myself. It seems to me that most LL.M. students are between 23-35. I believe more important than your age are your reasons for applying: do you wish to switch specialty, or learn more about the US legal system, or learn more about your field of expertise. There are plenty of good reasons why an older (and you're not old) lawyer might wish to take an LL.M. degree. Besides, some law schools like Stanford require extensive work experience, and consequentially their LL.M. candidates are bit older.

It might hurt you at some schools, but most will look at it favorably, presuming that you have done something interesting for the last 10 years.
