Hi!
I'm a 28 yo South Korean looking to become a Maritime Lawyer.
I graduated from Korea Maritime University and majored in Maritime Transportation. My GPA isn't high at all, which is 3.5/4.5.
I've worked as a deck officer for 4 years after graduation, and my TOEFL is 112.
Would any of my qualifications be of hindrance when applying to a LL.B in the UK or getting a Training Contract in the commonwealth? Also, how would you rate my chances of being accepted?
Many thanks in advance!!!
Warmly,
Sunghyuk Kim

What schools are you targeting?
How does your GPA compare to others in your class? If it's low, your work experience should help mitigate to an extent, but if it's really low (relatively speaking), this could be a problem. It depends on a lot of factors, and at the better schools, could present an issue.
