Hi all
According to the UCL acceptance letter, you SHOULD accept within 4 weeks and it appears in any event before 21 March 2008 if you are also applying for the scholarships referred to in the attached form.
Obviously, financial concerns are crucial for a lot of us, so it seems odd to me that these scholarships are only available AFTER you accept the offer, and the scholarships won't be paid until the awards ceremony in March 2009. It would be hard for me pay full international fees without knowing whether I'll get any financial assistance until much later on.
In any case I'm still holding out for some of the other universities to get back to me, but it seems a bit of a waste to just let this offer lapse (like I already did for KCL). Is there anyone out there that is in a similar situation? Is it okay to accept first (and apply for the scholarships) and then pull out later?

I called UCL Admissions with this question. They told me it's ok to accept the offer first and withdraw later in case you choose to accept another offer.
