Thank you! And for those who are wondering, yesterday my status was "Awaiting Consideration" and my status is now ''Under Consideration''. So CamSIS really does not reflect the current state of events.

It would be my humble guess that Cambridge is simply behind schedule with the LL.M. decision process because of the MCL, which is offered for the first time this year and probably got prioritized re decision process.

I'd say your humble guess might be accurate... I received a conditional offer to the LLM today.

As every lawyer I like to be right. ;-)

Will we be seeing you in Cambridge this fall then?

Hi all offer holders,
My camsis status is still stuck in Awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies for a week. I just wonder when it will be changed to candidate for admission. I can't believe that it took me this long.

Thanks Frontal. I'm trying to decide between Cambridge LLM and Oxford BCL. I'm leaning towards Oxford BCL, but really feeling like I have no idea what I should be looking at to decide between the two!

What are your areas of interest? What do you want to do afterwards?

BCL is more recognized than Cam LLM in UK, especially if you want to become a barrister.
Cam LLM is better for international lawyers.

(that's what I've read and heard...)

But the main difference : the BCL is A LOT more work than Cam LLM... So it depends on how you want to spend you year, and on what you're planning to do after.

not me!. still waiting.

from what I've heard, it is possible that we will never even hear a rejection. they accept whoever they want and that's it. according to some experiences, some people never heard anything, ever, from them.

that has me frustrated

Who is still waiting?

Do you think the bulk of offers may have already been made??

Does Cambridge make more offers when people reject it??

Does anyone else have a telephone interview in the coming days for the AHRC studentship for the LLM? Mine is tomorrow morning with Dr Michael Waibel. From the posts in previous years, it seems the faculty inform you by the end of April whether or not they are nominating you to the AHRC for an award.

Hi guys, does the MCL include a mandatory dissertation? I read that there is a deals course which is a full year paper and a lecture oriented corporate law course besides the electives. I am not very familiar with the system, so I could not be sure. Any ideas would be much appreciated:)
