Dear all,
I was fortunate enough to receive offers from Oxford BCL and Cambridge LLM (2020- 2021), and need help with this impossible dilemma. I have come up with some metrics, which are important to me, to distinguish the two courses and would really appreciate if any current/previous students on these courses could provide some insight on them. For the benefit of this discussion, it will be helpful if you could outline your background too, perhaps your education and career.
Metrics:
- Course delivery (Class size/ number of lectures, tutorials or seminars)
- Academic staff (access to academics/ split between PHD students/ academics)
- Rigorousness of the course (workload - essays per week/ semester/ assessments)
- Focus on corporate-finance (any academics that particularly stand out from either institutions) *A particular interest of mine*
- Reputation/ Employability (probably indistinguishable?)
Thank you in advance for any input!

Hi,
I have the exact same dilemma and I am currently finding the decision impossible! I have reached out to people I know from my jurisdiction who have completed or are completing both programmes and would be happy to share their feedback with you. Send me a DM and I’ll add you on Whattsapp!
