Hello All

I wanted to understand from applicants for AY 2021-22 and those who have pursued a BCL/Mjur from Oxford as to the best route for a career in academia. Does a BCL suffice? Or is it necessary to pursue an MPhil from Oxford for a complete qualification for an academic career? What are the chances and opportunities after a BCL and a BCL+MPhil?
Also, can someone share experience regarding the MSc courses at OII?

From my experience, you definitely have to do the MPhil (and then DPhil) after the BCL. That seems to be the classic route, although some people manage to get into the MPhil without doing the BCL first
