I got in both LSE (Executive LL.M) and King's (Financial and Commercial LL.M) and need your expertise/experience.

I like the specificity of King's program in financial law. LSE to me has a better reputation but the program is generic.

As a Spanish in-house counsel looking to climb the career ladder within my company or a big law firm, which school would you recommend? Did you attend one of these programs?

LSE also has a great reputation for finance / financial law. This would be a close choice and would mostly depend on which school you 'click' with - in terms of the faculty with whom you would like to study and the actual curriculum on offer.

I'd also suggest taking some time to research the schools' reputations within your company and the law firms where you are interested in working. Perhaps in your region and in the firms you are looking at, one school has a better reputation / stronger network. You can use LinkedIn to find this kind of info, to some degree. 

The Executive LLM at the LSE is typically taught on campus in one week blocks and leads to the award of a full LLM.  It is a very tough and gruelling course over 3-4 years, and the calibre of the students is very high.  The Executive LLM at KCL is taught online.  KCL recently taught the course with the IBA and are now branching out.  It doesn't seem to be a proper LLM tbh.  If you want a proper LLM then choose LSE.  Also look at Berkeley Professional track or Melbourne have a modular LLM too. Don't go for the online programs if you want a reputable LLM.
