I'm financing the LLM myself, hence I didn't apply for a scholarship. I've received the offer via the application tracker, but the 'official' offer letter has been already sent last friday.

I called the admissions office yesterday and asked them about the status of my application. He told me that it was still with the department and that that's all he knew but he sent them an email to remind them about it. He couldn't give me a timeline on when a decision will be made but hopefully it won't be more than a weeks time.. By the way, after the automated messages finished it only took 2 seconds before someone answered.

Hey, do you guys know how many students are admitted in LSE's program? I see that they just changed the status of the program to "Limited availability" and I haven't received any answer yet, so I'm really anxious! Do you know how long does a program typically remain in the "limited availability" status before closing? Thank you and good luck to you all!

I applied just right now. I dont know if my application will even be considered as it shows that the programme is in limited availability. Any inputs, anyone?

I applied at this time of year last time - right after the programme was advertised as having "limited availability". I got put onto the waitlist after about 10 weeks, and then made an offer three weeks later.

From what I know, limited availability only means that there is now a limited number of additional offers to be given for the September 2014 intake. This does not mean that applications submitted in the last few days will not be considered, or that you have no chance of getting in. To the contrary, many students (like myself) are waiting for financial offers from different universities or home country scholarship decisions to finally select the LLM program for the upcoming academic year. I got an unconditional offer from LSE in January and I still haven't confirmed my spot - as many other students did - and many with offers will wait for other schools to select and see what University to attend. Any applicant already given an offer, after deciding to go to one school will decline offers to other places and limited availability in these programs would send offers to candidates who submitted their application at a later stage! So, keep your fingers crossed that your CV and application satisfy the general admission criteria for LSE and if so, a place would appear sooner or later!

Just received a conditional offer! :) I received my 4th email on 22 november, meaning that it took 3 and a half months to get a reply. so for those of you who have waited for a long time, there's still hope! :)

I have an offer from LSE. I guess my offer pack got misplaced in the mail so they've sent me another one. Problem is, I need a proof of admission for one of the scholarship applications. Exactly what all constitutes a proof of admission? I read somewhere on the website FAQs that a certificate of offer can be downloaded from the application tracker. I don't see such an option, has anyone else had a similar problem? Any idea how to download the certificate?

I think it depends on the choices that you have!

Hey could someone give me some advice on which school would you choose if you were accepted to:
-NYU- no scholarship
-LSE- (havent applied to scholarship so there is still a chance there)
-UCLA- with 50% scholarship
Thank you so much for all the insight in advance!

Hi guys !!! Btw NYU and LSE I don't know. I'm rather young and few professional experience. I applied to both but I don't think I will be admitted to nyu.
If I had to choose my decision would depend on what I wanted to specialize in (tax-nyu) and where I wanna find a job. America or Europe.

Hey guys. I have a similar dilemma: Columbia LLM with no scholarship or LSE with complete scholarship. What do you think?? I want to specialize in financial and banking law. Is there a big difference between Columbia and LSE in terms of reputation???
