Hello, i am a law student in my final year in Spain, my intention is to move and practice in England, most likely in London, i have been researching the different options to practice law in England and it comes down to doing the GDL or as August 2021 the GDL will no longer be necessary and the option of the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), which will have no specific course requirements, will be available.
Would it be better if i did a general LLM in English law while enrolled for the SQE examinations or is a GDL more desirable to secure a training contract for a foreign lawyer?
