I hate to break it to you, but a third is likely not going to cut it. Most senior status/graduate entry LLB courses want a 2:1 or a 3.00 GPA depending on the grading scale you came from. Honestly, not to be harsh or negative, but you are going to struggle to get training contract with getting a third on your first degree even if you get into a senior status/graduate entry course.

That's' 'the thing though i dn't need a training contract so dats the least of my worries. Got the third due to unforseen circumstances that came up during my final year (not going to bore you with the details). Back to the question if i can't get unto the senior status llb does anyone knw an alternative route i can try to getting an llb?

You can apply for the three year LLB. I know some universities offer this as an alternative to perspective students who get conditional offers on the senior status/graduate entry courses, but do not make the grades required for the conditional offer (This is usually students who are on their final year of their previous degree and have a bad last term or less than stellar last term). Contact the law faculties directly and seek advise. You may also want to look at getting a post grad diploma in law and apply again next year.
