I was thinking it may be a fun idea to get together before our respective courses start. Hopefully, this will give us an opportunity to meet people attending other unis and help us settle in a bit socially. I was thinking sometime during the week of 20 Sept, which is the week before the start of term for most of us.

Please let me know if you're interested in attending, so I can get a provisional sense of numbers. Also let me know if you have any preferences for specific dates so I can try to accommodate while planning.

amt233, I will be in Northern Ireland from the 17th to the 23rd and that's why I suggested the weekend.

We've got induction week starting on the 27th at UCL... and KCL will start classes on that same day (induction week will have already finished)... so any date from the 25th onwards I reckon will be kind of hard to accommodate... but anyway, let's see if people are really willing to come with like us... I've sent some PMs around but got no answer.

Unfortunately, response has been a bit slow -- there's been a big drop in activity on LLM Guide in the past few months.

Yeah... and I'll probably slow down a little too 'cause it's my last day at work today and I am unlikely to login everyday now... I will try to stay away from computers over my holidays. But I will check up on the Guide every now and then.

I understand why the week of the 27th would be busy coz of UCL and KCL.At LSE we start classes on the 1st of Oct and regisrtaion is on the 23rd.So if the week of the 20th is more convinient for most people, that's fine.You can tell me all about it sometime!
