I am currently finishing my Juris Doctor at the University of Toronto, and I have a bachelor's and a master's degree from another leading Canadian university. Although I will be practicing law at a leading firm for a couple of years before pursuing an LLM, I was wondering what kinds of grades I would need for top schools in the UK (Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, King's College). Since JD is my third degree, will schools evaluate my JD grades differently? Also, U of T is on a modified Pass-Fail system (Pass, Fail, Honours, High Honours) and do not give out rankings unless you are in the top 10%. I was not in the top 10% but had decent grades and a stellar undergrad/graduate academic record.
Thank you!
