Hi all, no change in status so far. Agree with ^^, we probably will only hear back at the end of the month or early March. Has anyone else applied for the Gates schol? Any idea how that process is coordinated? Much gratitude for some clarity on the same.

The wait is killing me! Based on what I've read in past threads I think movement to the BOGS stage will start occurring from the 20th of February. Fingers crossed.

What back up universities did you guys apply to?

The wait sucks. And I think we'd be lucky to hear that soon.

BCL at Oxford. Unwilling to pay for postgrad anywhere else. You?

None!

It's Cambridge LLM for me or straight into the accelerated LPC this summer at BPP and then immediately into my traineeship at an MC firm in the City.

I decided not to apply to the Oxford MJur/BCL - the modules did not interest me as much.

Same here. Although I'm now starting to doubt my decision to not apply for a back up.

Could any of the former LLM students here tell us how many subjects we can or have to choose? And are any combinations possible? Are there obligatory subjects? The LLM website only lists the papers/courses and states that if you choose at least 3 from a specific area (international, european, ...) your LLM can have a specific designation. But I guess we will have more than 3 subjects?
Thank you in advance!

Four subjects ("papers"), free choice.

It appears that PhD applicants already start proceeding to BOGS.
Wondering when the turn of LLM applicants will come.

I've gone through the thread and it seems like pretty much everyone is in the same boat! I'm soooo anxious - been under consideration by DC since January...

No change here. Still DC stage.

At first, I thought that the early changes to the DC stage indicated that the application process somehow sped up. However, that doesn't seem to be the case.

I wonder whether someone is motivated enough to call Cambridge and simply ask when first admissions will be handed out.

We'd just be wasting their time. The decisions will be made eventually. Better to keep our mind off it.
