Congratulations, guys! :))

What scholarships have you applied for? I thought there was only Gates, and then college scholarships, but maybe I've missed some important information...

To the Cambridge Overseas Trust, but I don't know if they made decisions already.

for the gates if you did not receive an e-mail it means you are not acepted

Thank you for your email. All successful International candidates shortlisted for interview how now been notified, if you have not received an email then unfortunately you have not been selected for a Gates Cambridge Scholarship. Due to the sheer volume of applications we are unable to provide feedback.

Best wishes,
Joanna

Indeed - I received that same e-mail from Joanna yesterday. So Gates is a no-go (at least for me) and I did not specifically apply for anything else. Are there any scholarships for which we are automatically considered, like in Oxford?

Depends on where do you come from, personally, I am not eligible to any of those listed on the website. I was very surprised when I found this out. So I did not even bother applying...

To those who are worried about the timing between status changing and offer, my status changed on Friday and the same afternoon I received an email from Suzanne confirming that I had been made an offer but that it would arrive some time this week. I think it is just a formality but takes them a little while.

Alessa, same here. Although I'm not actually sure when mine changed - I just saw it on Saturday, and I hadn't checked it for a long time.

Congratulations, Optimisticgirl! So, it seems that Germans (BoGSed on Wednesday) are getting offers today -> that would mean 6 days later. Is there anyone who got BoGSed and did not get an offer?

From last year's thread, it seems that being BoGSed practically means being admitted: "Technically in Cambridge the faculty can only recommend to the Board of Graduate Studies that you be offered a place, but 99.9% of the time the BOGS will just accept the faculty's recommendations, so if it's reached the BOGS stage then you are almost definitely in." (http://www.llm-guide.com/board/118650/20)

I am actually not from Germany but from East Africa.

Thursday last week.
Oh, I'm very, very sorry, Optimisticgirl! My memory has tricked me, I apologise. Which day did you get BoGSed, then?

Conditional offer made.
Conditions include an original transcript, passport details, financial undertaking, college membership and language test.

Congrats! May I ask a question? What's the condition of your language test? Maybe your answer can be a great of help for that Chinese applicant.

I have to be assessed by the language centre of Cambridge.

sorry for slightly changing the subject, but I am sure many of you also applied for the MCL programme, have there been any changes of the status after the first round of offers in April?

No.I did not submit the TOEFL/IELTS results because my official language is English.
"Applicants in any of the following groups, who do not meet the above criteria, will be assessed in English competence by the University's Language Centre if they are made an offer of admission.

A national of a country in List B
Applicants who have completed 3 years of University level study in a country in List B no more than 2 years before the start date of their proposed course."

My country is listed in List B hence the requirement for an assessment.

This question is for the international students who applied for the Commonwealth Scholarships.
We filled in Part B of the GRADSAF during our application for admission and I thought that it was the only requirement. However, today i discovered a certain EAS form to be filled in on the Commonwealth page and I am a bit confused. Do we need to fill in this one as well?
