Hi folks, I'm a long time lurker here. I just wanted to check if any of you got rejected after your portal moved to PAO? I just checked my portal for the MCL after 5 days today and I moved to PAO and while I can't contain the relief/ joy, I just wanted to check statistically if it's possible to get rejected at PAO stage and what those reasons could be.

Separately, any idea if classes are going to be online or in person? Have you received any communication from Cambridge?

I think no one has been rejected after moving to PAO in this thread. It may only to take time to get your offer. I suggest you clarify with PAO after 15 days if there has been no movement yet. I had to email them for my offer in my case after 20+ days. Hope this helps.

I would hope that the process from PAO to offer will be quick, as most (if not all) other departments have given out offers already. And this will, in any case, be a very small batch of offers that they need to send out for the second round of MCL.

Its so annoying they’re making everyone wait until the very last day...

Hey guys! Nope I haven't heard back from them - I presumed we'd have to wait at least until 30th April end of day. I had reached out to Cambridge on 23rd and they responded saying that the MCL Academic Committee is still considering applications and will be done 30th April - but this was before I saw my PAO update on the portal. I guess we'll just have to wait!

On the website it says that applicants will be notified of the outcome by 30 April 2021

I have started an organization when I was 14 which advocates for environmental matters and global warming. I am associated with another organisation which work for the students of rural areas and provide them support. I have been a leader of a protest against eve-teasing and national dailies covered that.
