Hello,
Hope everyone is doing well. I just had a few questions to ask, and i would really appreciate your opinions.
First off, did anyone apply to QMUL? If you had, how did you receive your response?
Secondly, i received an offer from Manchester University...is it a good University?
Thirdly, if anyone applied to Kings College, how long did the reply take?
Thank you guys very much, such a stressful time of my life.

Are you talking about King's College, Cambridge or King's College London?
I recently get an offer from KCL LLM. It only took 3 days after I submitted my application.

I don't have an amazing CV.
I am currently studying at the University of Hong Kong for PCLL (equivalent to UK Legal Pratice Course).
The average marks of my CPE/GDL is around 62% only. And I still have not secured a TC in my home city.
I also wonder why I was given the offer so quickly which leads me to doubt about the quality and reputation of KCL LLM as I read some negative comments in respect of the Uni.
However, when I compare the international Finance LLM with UCL, I find KCL finance law course is more practical and in a more international sense. UCL LLM has its focuse on the UK and EU while KCL has more focus on the UK, US and common wealth which is more helpful for a career in Asia. My only concern is KCL's reputation. It puts me in a dilemma.
Anyway, I attempt to try my luck with UCL although they explicitly states that they require a min. 65% :-P. It seems UCL Law Faculty has a very long holiday.

Kings has a great law department, don't worry. it also has an amazing new campus which is simply gorgeous. obviously UCL has one of the best law departments in the country and the world, so getting to do the LLM there would be amazing, but a Kings LLM is nothing to sniff at. felicitations on your accomplishment, and fingers crossed you'll get in to UCL too. (though I'd be surprised if you hear back before March/April!)
