Im going to try to word this as best I can.
I want to practice law in London but am applying to university in Ireland (for many reasons I wont discus here, bare with me)
Bachelor of Civil law = Eligible to sit the bar here in Ireland and also to apply to L.L.M. programs in the England
Bachelor of Corporate law = Need an additional year to be able to sit the bar here (I don't really desire to practice in Ireland) but also eligible to apply to L.L.M programs in England
If i complete my Corporate law course and complete the L.L.M. will I be eligible to apply to sit a solicitors/barristers exam in either Ireland or England?
PS. Does anyone have any advice as to which undergraduate course to chose or advice in general before I finalize my course options ?
Thank you!!
Am I eligible?

In order to become a barrister or a solicitor you need first of all a qualifying law degree, whether this is through an LLB or through a GDL, then you will have to do the BPTC (for barristers) or the LPC (for solicitors). Both are one year courses with prices ranging from 10-18 000 pounds.
An LLM is of no use as it can not substitute a qualifying law degree. So you have to make sure the degrees you are applying for are QLD.
