Hello
I scored 107 at TOEFL iBT. Now I received a conditional offer from KCL stating that i must receive at least 7 IELTS or the TOEFL equivalent. Upon research on the KCL website I have learned that they require 109 TOEFL iBT for Law... Is this new? Last time I have ckecked it was 100...

Hey,
very sry to hear that. I got an unconditional offer with 106, but the web site has not changed till I received my offer. But I did write quite a long personal statement. Did you do so as well?
Where are you from? I'm from Germany.

A 7 on the IELTS is, according to the equivalency table, lower than a 107 on the TOEFL iBT.
Better contact the admission office at KCL again.. maybe there has been some problem while evaluating or receiving your toefl score report! Good luck.

Thank you for your answers. I have contacted the admissions office and asked for a re evaluation of my application.
As expected they told me that King's has to do its own evaluation and analysis of the various English language tests and their respective comparability. The entry requirements they ask for are reflective of these findings and are reviewed each year and so changes in their requirements may be made.
In addition I have asked for this year's internal table of equivalency and will let you know about this once I get an answer.
