I am a student from India applying to Oxford and Cambridge. I am seriously hoping for funding assistance if I receive any offers. A number of scholarships in each of these universities is college-based. Since I want to be open to any and every scholarship offer, should I submit no college preference and go for an open application? or is it possible that even if I have submitted college preferences, I can be considered for college-based scholarships from other colleges and will be allowed to opt for the offering college later?<br>

Also please let me know if there is any difference between Oxford &amp; Cambridge in this regard.<br>
