Hi all,

I'll be starting my LLM at LSE in September and am currently (re)assessing which modules I should pick. Throughout the year, you have to sit 7 half-modules, plus the dissertation. Whilst many modules are assessed via exam, having to sit 7 papers in the summer term seems like an awful lot. At the same time, I'm also wary of choosing too many essay-based modules, as writing loads of 8000-word essays would be no cakewalk either. Essentially what I'm getting at is that I'd like your humble opinions on what you think is the best combination!

Edit: I should also add that there are plenty of modules, both essay and exam-based, that interest me, so it won't simply be a matter of doing what I find most interesting! Thank you!
