Hello,
I was just wondering what people were thinking about doing if there was still a travel ban to the USA for their country when it comes to heading to the US for our LLM? From what I can decipher, you can get around it by travelling to a country which doesn't have a ban and staying there for at least 14 days before going to the USA (but I haven't had this confirmed by the Embassy).
Would appreciate any input!

That’s exactly what I’m planning to do, if necessary. Lots of people from Brazil are doing this to go back to the US, and it works completely fine.
I’m more worried about getting a student visa, because all the US consulates here are closed for months... so I’d probably go somewhere to get the visa, stay for 2 weeks, and then go to the US. (But hoping for the best, which is the end of the travel ban and the reopening of the consulates until July lol)

Don't you think it will all be okay with our student visa? I mean, I know international people who went to the US in August 2020 with their students visa.
